Bonnières-sur-Seine, 02/11/2021 – SKYTECH, France’s rising star in the production of premium regenerated plastic resins, is pleased to welcome Geneviève Ferone Creuzet to the company’s Board of Directors.
A specialist in sustainable development and corporate social and environmental responsibility, Geneviève Ferone Creuzet has since 2013 served as co-founder and partner of Prophil, a research and consulting firm dedicated to helping business contribute to the common good and supporting entrepreneurs committed to the implementation of alternative strategies. Previously, she established ARESE, the first French extra-financial rating agency, now Vigeo, and worked as head of sustainable development for Eiffage and Veolia Environnement.
Passionate about issues of urban ecology, Geneviève Ferone Creuzet created the Phosphore Ville Durable laboratory in 2006, followed Casabee, an independent firm in 2013 which reimagines value chains at the local level to share wealth among all participants. She is also vice-president of The Shift Project, a think-tank dedicated to the energy transition.
Geneviève Ferone Creuzet teaches circular economy and industrial ecology at the Centrale Supelec school of engineering and is the author of several books: Le crépuscule fossile (Stock, 2015), as well as Bienvenue en transhumanie co-authored with Jean-Didier Vincent (Grasset, 2011), and 2030, le crack écologique (Grasset, 2008)
“Faced with the climate emergency, it is imperative that we support companies inventing new solutions to make our economy and industry truly circular. In this respect, I am very pleased to join the Board of Directors of SKYTECH, a rising star well on its way to becoming European leader in the regeneration of complex plastics,” shared Geneviève Ferone Creuzet.
“We are delighted to welcome Geneviève to our board of directors. Her experience as head of sustainable development for several global corporations and her expertise in the fields of CSR and the circular economy will be invaluable to us as we tackle the next stages of our development, particularly internationally,” said Arthur Rozen, CEO of SKYTECH.
“Having Geneviève Ferone Creuzet join the SKYTECH board of directors will enable the latter to benefit from a top-flight expert with undeniable influence in the field of sustainable development as well as social and environmental responsibility. This is a valuable appointment to support the ambitions of our rising star in the regeneration of plastics from WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) producing industries” explained Olivier Ossipoff, Chairman of Xerys Invest.
A company active in the intelligent and sustainable circular economy, SKYTECH contributes to revolutionizing the plastics industry with eco-plastics. This French industrial gem produces premium recycled materials from complex plastic waste for industrial applications. After many years of R&D carried out with support from ADEME, SKYTECH has developed a well-protected, innovative sorting platform enabling the separation of post-consumer polymers at a purity rate greater than 99% as well as their granulation. SKYTECH offers a concrete answer to the challenge facing the plastics industry, namely, how to evolve their product to serve eco-design as well as to address a major environmental issue at the heart of society’s concerns. As a company, SKYTECH also strives to limit its own environmental impact with a production tool delivering first class energy performance.
