Le Val d’Hazey, May 16 2024 – As part of its development strategy, Skytech, a specialist in the production of premium recycled resins from post-consumer plastic waste (ABS, PS, PP) for industrial corporations and plastic manufacturers, is undergoing a change in management. Francis Angotti has been appointed Chairman of the Supervisory Board, and Frédéric Delaval has been appointed CEO.

Francis Angotti has extensive experience as an executive within major international groups in the industrial, services, and environmental sectors. He began his career in the oil sector with TotalEnergies Group, where he held development roles in Europe for ten years before joining Disneyland Paris for the construction of the theme park. He then joined CNIM Group, a French industrial equipment and engineering company operating globally, as Commercial Director. He then spent 18 years with Veolia Group, holding various executive positions within the Waste Management branch in France and the UK, the Transport branch, and as CEO of the Asia-Pacific region for Veolia Transdev. Since 2015, Francis Angotti has specialized in advising SMEs to support their development, notably helping to establish Skytech by participating in the construction of its industrial facility.

Francis Angotti comments: “I am very pleased to join Skytech as Chairman of the Supervisory Board. As the European Union embarks on an ambitious path to promote a European market for material reuse, Skytech, with its technological expertise and industrial facility, is already an indispensable ally for industries seeking to decarbonize their production processes. I am delighted to bring my experience to one of the finest French and European flagships in the circular economy.”

Frédéric Delaval, the new CEO of Skytech, has nearly 30 years of extensive experience in managing and leading companies specialized in transport and urban logistics. Prior to joining Skytech, Frédéric was the Deputy CEO of Urby, a company that helps local authorities in implementing decarbonized urban logistics solutions. Previously, he was President of Mobigreen, a pioneer in sustainable mobility, winning the first Veligo tender. He also held the position of Technical Director of the Service-Mail-Parcels Branch within La Poste Group for six years. He built his career in industrial and service companies such as Technicolor, Pfizer, and began as a supply chain consultant at PEA Consulting.

Frédéric Delaval adds: “I am delighted to join Skytech and to bring my skills to the commercial and industrial development of this remarkable SME. With its production facility capable of eventually reaching a capacity of 40,000 tons of premium ABS, PS, and PP, Skytech has become a key partner for industries committed to decarbonization and seeking an alternative to virgin petroleum-based plastics. As a key link in the French circular economy, Skytech is set to become one of the European leaders in reuse in the coming years.”
